How to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius

The relationship between temperature in Fahrenheit (T_^oF) and temperature in Celsius (T_^oC) is given below:

T_^oF = (9/5)×T_^oC + 32

Alternatively, it can also be written as:

T_^oC = (T_^oF - 32)×(5/9)

T_^oC = (T_^oF - 32)/1.8

To convert 122 Fahrenheit into Celsius, the above formula can be used:

((122 ^oF) - 32)/1.8 = 50 ^oC
