MariaDB RIGHT() Function
The MariaDB RIGHT() function is used to extract a substring from a string, starting from the right-most character.
Syntax
RIGHT(string, number_of_chars)
Parameters
string |
Required. Specify the string to extract from. |
number_of_chars |
Required. Specify the number of characters to extract. If this parameter exceeds the length of the string, this function will return string. |
Return Value
Returns the substring extracted from specified string.

Result: 'm'
SELECT RIGHT('AlphaCodingSkills.com', 4);
Result: '.com'
