Java Enum - name() Method

The java.lang.Enum.name() method returns the name of this enum constant, exactly as declared in its enum declaration.

Syntax

public final String name()

Parameters

No parameter is required.

Return Value

Returns the name of this enum constant.

Exception

NA.

Example:

In the example below, the java.lang.Enum.name() method returns the name of the given enum.

The output of the above code will be:
